Since ‘The Elder Scrolls: Arena’, the series has captured audiences, brought in huge sales and developed the glorious (and massive) world of Nirn.
‘The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’ saw a record number of sales for Bethesda Game Studios, becoming its best ever selling game (a title it held until recently beaten by ‘Fallout 4’). It’s no surprise that players everywhere want to see a return of the series and many theories and rumours have emerged, speculating at the whereabouts of a possible sixth game.
‘The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition’ was released in late 2016, breathing new life into the original game.
It’s believed that the next game in the series will be set in a different location within Tamriel, with most rumours pointing towards Argonia/Black Marsh, where Argonians (lizard-like people) live. However, with no reliable sources to work with, the location is shrouded in complete mystery for now.
‘Skyrim’ saw instant success with its vast and handcrafted world to explore.
It seems that, for now, we’ll be left guessing until more leaks surface. However far off in the future development for ‘The Elder Scrolls VI’ starts, it’s confirmed.
The Red Squirrel Gaming will post any updates regarding the progress of its production.
